$450/hr for civil complex matters. I am a plaintiff’s attorney, but have quite a bit of experience outside of personal injury (ie. Real Estate Litigation, Probate Litigation, DTPA/Consumer Law, Fraud, Breach of Contract, Breach of Fiduciary Duty) – in those types of cases, an hourly rate is charged. Personal Injury cases, like car crashes, are done on a contingency fee basis and “attorney fees” are typically not sought against the at fault party unless a specific part of the law allows for such fees.
